Default Hp limits on -08 ptfe hose

I have a single a1000 with -08 ptfe to and from fuel cell. I've add 2 more 450 pumps so i was wanting to y the to pump housing together and run the -08 that i have or do i need to redo it all and goto -10? The rails are dash -08 so i dont thinkthink foing to a bigger line will make a difference. Looking to make 12 to 1300 rwhp. Will be on e85.

PTFE has a smaller inside diameter then standard line. You must factor that in.

-8 PTFE has a smaller inner diameter than standard line. Not much larger than a standard -6AN. 1300whp on E85 is about 1700whp worth of fuel on gasoline. At 43 PSI base pressure, you're not going to have enough flow.

yeah i was pretty sure the -8 was going to be to small. the -10 is what i need based on that chart in link above.Just trying to figure what post fuel filter flows enough. I seen people run 1 filter and people run 2. Sum 40 micron and sum 10 micron.1 would be easier to plum.Just spent 560$ on hose and fittings for the inlet side. I will keep the -8 that's already in car.Any filter recommendations?

I like the large summit inline aluminum filters.

I've recently switched to spin-ons but all 3 of my cars are down so I haven't personally tested them. Some of the other guys here say they're the best.

yeah i seen that one but its 100micron. The aeromotive one similar to that is 10 micron. I wasnt for sure if the inline filters would flow enough.https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F23 2626832876.

All hoses, and different manufacturers seem to vary the size of both fittings and lines. So he would need to check with whatever his supplier offers.

But they all neck down at the alloy fittings one way or another, but as you suggest, PTFE lines tend to drop down the most because of how they insert/crimp the hose.

As for filters....use one with enough flow capacity...and an element suitable for whatever fuel you are using, and with a low enough filtration level for whatever injectors you are using.

Some injectors are incredibly fussy and will need less than 10 microns.

Inside diameter is .405.

Of the actual hose or the fittings that go inside the hose ?

And are straights/bends alike internally ? Or do the bends drop down further ?
