Default Evap purge solenoid delete

For engine bay cleanup, did you guy just pull the evap solenoid off pictured below along with the line and then just cap the intake and cap the end leading back to the fuel tank? Any fuel smell get into the garage doing this?



I'm not understanding this 2nd pic I found..... won't that pull a vacuum on the fuel tank?

remove it. Cap the intake hole, can plug a bolt into the hose going back to the tank. No smells.

I always cap intake and add a small filter to the hard line right behind engine.
