I wasn't sure the best place to post, so I'm posting this here as well:

I've searched for this question and the answers I have found are "pretty sure" that it will work. I definitely don't want to have to pull the tank and buy a new pump. Can someone tell me if the LT1 fuel pump (48psi) will definitely work for a stock 2004 5.3 (58psi). I'm running the corvette regulator (setup for 58psi), I'm interested to know if anyone has done this with success or a shop has seen this work for certain.

No it won't work properly

You need 58 psi
