Need a little help with Racetronix 340 pump parts list and wiring kit
Talked to Racetronix this morning but wasn't in front of computer. Says the 340 pump would work well for me. It doesn't come in kit form but told me what to order. I'm on their website now and I'm going with the RXP-340 pump, filter sock, connector set, foam sleever, rubber grommet and in tank harness as he said. My question is about the wiring kit. He said I need the FPWK-017 either W or A and didn't know how to tell me which one I needed. Not sure the difference on the 2 and it's too late to call. Hoping to get this ordered soon and get my car back on the road. I appreciate any help,
Brian

This kit assumes you are ordering for your 02. The 1998 kit will be a little bit different so make sure you order by year. A plus with the 99-2002 kit is that it includes an upgraded bulkhead connecter that support pumps with a draw of up to 30 amps. The stock bulkhead connector, now almost 20 years old on some cars, has been known to fail and only supports 14 amps. Make sure you replace it when doing the install as the Rxp341 pumps draws right at 14 amps.
The Rxp341 pump is actually is a little smaller than the stock pump (dimension-wise).

BTW - you will get it much quicker too, if you order from the WS6 store.

1998 Z28 ProCharged D1 with new engine on the way from TSP (370 LQ9 built for boost). I asked if I pulley the FI system to make 12-15 lbs of boost and reach 700 rwhp will the RXP341 support it. I have the 1998 Upgraded 340 kit and the C5 fuel filter/regulator kit.
The weak link with the 98 kit is that it does not include the upgraded bulkhead connector that support the draw required by larger pumps. The 99-2002 kits include an upgraded connector. The yellow connector on 98's only supports 14 amps. Max draw on the RXP 341 is 14 amps.

Their reply.
"Racetronix tech support referred your email to us.
The new hotwire harnesses are much better than the old design AND come with a heavy duty bulkhead for the fuel pump and better internal wiring.
Couple that with the drop in 340lph pump kit we have and you are good to 800hp.
Your stock fuel pressure regulator in the tank wont be sufficient to keep up though, so we do offer the c5 fuel filter/regulator kit as well that upgrades all of that and will support the power you need.
If you are interested in any of this, please let us know!!
