Chosing injector size

So I was on the phone with my tuner and the last of my things will be comming in the mail shortly, I have my fast 92, 92mm tb, 98mm lid, 1 7\8 long tubes 3in x pipe and this weekend will be putting in my cam, bolting on my heads and then needing a tune he told me to buy a set of LS3 fuel injectors that I see are 42lb injectors and in order to use them I have to buy some type of adapter to use them with the price of the injectors and thing I have to buy to make them work im looking at the same price of a new 48lb injectors now my question would be is 48lb injectors too big to use on my current setup? and if I do buy the 48's could he just turn down the duty cycle so I could keep them for use when I upgrade my motor further?

I would run gtp injectors. You can get 8 of them for around $100. They are 36# that flow at around 40# at our fuel pressure. That is what I run with the setup in my sig.

Who did you decide to go with for tuning if I may ask?

yes he should be able to dumb down the injector.

I run the GTPs too. They looks just like the stock ones but different color. I have some if you need them as well.

Looks like im going to go a different route, talking with the tuner that I am having do that car I am going to make a switch to e85 and he has recommended 60lb injectors

One thing to keep in mind is not to go to big. Generally the bigger u go the tougher to tune they can be. A 42 pound at 58 psi will be plenty for u

Even for e85?

No e85 you will need to run a bigger injector. Listen to your tuner with using the 60lbs, sounds like he knows what hes talking about. If you need any let me know

First post on the bottom says he's still deciding.

I'm looking at running flex fuel on a stock head/cam LS1. So, the 42#ers are GTG?

I ran rejetted stockers (48ish) from FIC for a bunch of years and was super pleased with them.
