Cleaning my Injectors ?

Cleaning the Injectors on an 07 tbss swapped into a 68 Chevelle. The engine has not been started in close to 10 years. Anyway when I energize the injector with a 9 volt battery am I suppose to here a Click or feel something move in the injector ? I have de-greased and cleaned them well with carb & choke cleaner.

When an injector is pulsing, there should be a vibrating sound. That's how you know it is on. If you need them professionally done, I can help you out and point you in the right direction.

Ok I got 3 of the 4 injectors to open but one is not opening as of now. Question can I only replace the bad injector or do they have to be replaced all together ?

They can be replaced singly, but you might want to get the rest flow checked if at all possible.

If these injectors have been sitting for 10+ years, I would highly suggest having an injector company clean and test them for you professionally. Pricing for 4 injectors is usually inexpensive.

But yes, it is possible to replace one injector only. It is not recommended though due to the fact that you do not know if the other 3 are flowing correctly which can lead to an unmatched set.

I was lucky and found a guy local to me that sonic cleaned and flow tested my injectors for $120 and that included new o-rings. My also soak in some Marvel Mystery Oil.
