Default Losing injector pulse

My truck runs for 15-20 minutes then shuts off, no stutter just dies. I’m losing the injector pulse. Tested it with a diode. I have a stock 5.3 with vats deleted, what could it be. Me cam and frank sensor as well as maf, map, iac and tps. Any help would be appreciated

Check ALL grounds and connections. You might have a bad-but-still-connecting connection that is getting hot and disconnecting, once cool (not long) reconnects.

I'm having the same problem. if I unhook my battery for a few minutes it will start again, Sometimes it'll run for a few days and sometimes it instantly craps out. been having this problem for about 2 weeks.

Default Grounds

Checked all the grounds to no avail. Got a new harness and still does it. Going to install my buddy’s computer tomorrow to see if that is the problem.

Everybody seems to have the same advice because that’s all they’ve ever heard. Check the grounds. Seems like most people on here really don’t know what they’re taking about. All they know is what they heard in a forum. I’ve checked the grounds, checked all the readings from all the sensors, checked fuel pressure, checked oil pressure, check the fuel, check my power steering fluid, checked the air in the tires.. IVE CHECKED EVERYTHING AND EVERYTHING CHECKS OUT. So I figured I’d ask if someone else has had this problem and all I get is check the grounds.

Default Me too

I get the same things as well, I have checked everything. One minute it’s running and the next it’s not, no more than 20 minutes then just shuts off. Check everything and the only thing I don’t get is the injector pulse. Let it sit for about 12 hours and it starts right back up. Then runs for 20 and shuts right off again. Rinse and repeat

I put the above there because it USUALLY WORKS! There are cases where it doesn't.
Too many times, a ground is forgotten and/or ignored. Other cases, loose or bad connections escape detection. Good luck!

Check the bulkhead connector that connects through to the fuse box, if the bolts are loose
it gets wet inside and corrodes and can cause all kinds of weird stuff to happen.
I've had to completely replace the connectors in them a couple times due to corrosion,
GM had multiple service bulletins about this randomly through the years.

i figured out mine kept loosing injector pulse. the plug that goes to mu map sensor wasn't fitting the prongs inside the map. I took a needle and bent the contacts up a little bit so the pins inside of the map sensor and it fired right up. it was doing that typical fire and start like the vats were still in and i bent those contacts a little and it fired right up.

You checked a connection. It was bad. You fixed it. You're welcome!

Default Found the problem

I finally solved my signal pulse issue. The new map sensor I had was bad. It would run for roughly 20 minutes and the then got hot and shut the truck down. I swapped it on a whim with another one I had and the truck stayed running. Finally took it down the road

Makes sense, thermally / time related stops are always electrical..
