1000cc/brands difference?

1000cc/brands difference? Building for a future single turbo setup and don’t want to buy twice. Backed up by a Walbro 525 pump(single for now) -8 feed/-6 return.
I know Injector Dynamics ID1050x’s are benchmark at $1100/set, but what about FIClinic Flowmax 1000’s at $700/set, or FID 1100’s at $800/set?
I know you get what you pay for here but all are advertising the same flow matching percentages with warranties… Are the ID’s really going to out perform the others by a $3-400 initial margin? I don’t have an issue spending the money but I guess I’m second guessing why I’d need to if they’re all reputable?
will be in a 2000 Formula WS6 A4 HCI build for the time being until a forged bottom end and turbo.

We use Injector Dynamics, Fuel Injector Clinic, and Fuel Injector Connection and have done so since they first started. We have tried plenty of others over the years and there is a reason we still just use those three for 99% of the builds that we do. As for spending more money and if it's noticeable, well that depends on a lot of factors. I wouldn't be putting a set of $2000 injectors in a junkyard build just like I wouldn't be putting a set of $500 injectors in a $50k build, it's all relative.

Exact same thing here. I even bought a injector flow bench to test injectors when we tried other injectors and even after testing a lot of injectors we still only use the same 3 brands you listed.

I have a lab grade flow bench and have tested lots of stuff. The data published by ID is usually within ~2% of what I see on my bench. The nice thing about the big ID injectors is that their design does a pretty good job of retaining consistency at small pulses where some other injectors struggle. This has a huge impact on idle and cruise tuning.
Fuel Injector Connection (Georgia) has me do their data, so I am mildly confident that's right too.
I have tested some other injectors with "known data" that was WAY off. I won't bother naming names here, but I'm surprised that some people believe the numbers.
