Default Anyone using external EFI pump instead of In-Tank?

Just trying to decide for LS1 project car if I can run a solo external fuel pump with returnless fuel system instead of an In-tank pump?

Or do I need to runa return line if I use an external pump?

If possible to run returnless system with external pump, what pump would be recommended for standard wiring etc. Something fairly quiet as well?

To suit LS1, LS6 manifold and baby 220cam.

I see you've been hanging without an answer on this so I'll jump in hoping that someone else will chime in with a better answer soon for you. Do not use the conventional return style fuel pumps such as stock GM, Weldon, Bosch, Accel, Aeromotive etc. on a returnless system. These gerator type pumps are not designed for dead-head pressure environements and will overheat and fail prematurely. I've never had any experiance with this but I understand that the Typhoon fuel pump works well for higher volume, returnless type systems.
