Fuel pump recomendation

Fuel pump recomendation Okay.
My stock fuel pump is sitting on 81k miles. When i had the car tuned, the fuel pump gives up at about 5k rpm, and the motor leans out (you can see if on the A\F Ration from the dyno ****. i didnt get a print out).
But it looked like this -stable......stable.....4600 rpm spike! then the ECU would crank up the flow, stable...5k SPIKE!!! GOING OING GONE OFF THE CHART!
it was scarey.
But now i'm getting worried because i think i can feel the car leaning out on top end, or i'm goin crazy. but i think i feel the almost total loss of power when the pump just gives up and can't give any more.
SO!
My question is this:
What fuel pump should i think about getting.
My current mods are in the sig, future mods include the Cam, and later on down the road possibly FI (havent decided SC or turbo yet). But i want something that, if possible, has the potential to max out the stock sprayers.
And not lean the car out.
I'd rather the injectors be my bottle neck, not my pump.

I have an aeromotive A1000 forsale with -10 inlet/-8 outlet fittings included for $280 shipped. Pump was used for approx 1 hour. After that hour i pulled the motor and the car will need more of a pump for the power it will make.
