Default Can't find -4an female to 1/8" npt female fitting for FP gauge, please help

Hey guys/girls. I have officially gone crazy. After days of searching, I have come up with nothing. I found two threads that both claim a company called Metco offers a one piece adapter fitting for the stock fuel rail schrader valve to hook up my Autometer Phantom Fuel Pressure Gauge. The fitting is: -4an female to 1/8" npt female. So, I clicked on the link provided and the site is down/does not exist. Metco pn# MFF0001 from the thread: https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthrea...ighlight=gauge

Is this company still in business?
If so, does anyone have a phone number or website?

All I need is this fitting and my installation can move on.

Also, an Aeroquip pn# 2242-2-4s was thrown around. No luck with this either. Found that on this thread: https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthrea...pressure+gauge

Thanks in advance if anyone can help me find this fitting to hook up my gauge.

Andy

Check summit for Earl's fittings. You will actually need two fittings to make this work. A -4AN female to 1/8 NPT male 90* PN 923104ERL and a 1/8 NPT female coupler PN 991001ERL. Hope that helps.

BTW, is that KPs old kit that you're going to be installing?

No, KP is still running his kit. He built his motor and is running more boost. Looking for 5's in the 1/8th. I bought Javier's (Mopar NOS) old kit. He is going turbo I believe. The kit was complete and the price was right. So I jumped into the "deep end" finally, I'm finally going FI.

Thanks! My buddy works at a hydraulics place. He said they might carry something like that. I'm gonna check his shop first, then go from there.

Ok cool that's your best bet. Seems like most of the manufacturers of Hydraulic Adapters have a suitable version.

Aeroquip = 2242-2-4S
Brennan = 6506-2-4
Imperial = 88FS-2-4
Trident = 1215-2-4
Gates = G60530-0402
JGB = 7253-35045 = 4FJX-2FP

FittingsandAdapters.com ----> 54-2-4 on sale $9.24 http://www.fittingsandadapters.com/fempiptofemj.html

I have some small needle nose pliers used in electronical applications. I used them to unscrew the schrader valve. There is about 4 threads until the valve is unscrewed. Make sure you have a rag underneath to catch a small amount of gas that will come out. You can also use the tool that removes tire valve stem valves to remove the schrader valve.

Hope this helps.

Good news, I found the adapter at GRAINGER...$2.50 or so. If anyone is looking for the adapter and has a Grainger near buy hit them up, they may have to order it but they can get it...The Aeroquip #2242-2-4S.
