Default turbo guys what have you set your 1:1 fuel pressure at?

those with the 1:1 rising fuel pressure regulator what do you set your fuel pressure at during idle?
i tired the stock 58psi at idle and it seemed way to rich when it went up from 1:1

At idle, pull the vac/boost reference line off the regulator and plug it. Then, set your base fuel pressure to the desired amount (usually 58# on LSx motors with factory electronics). Re-install the vac/boost reference line to the regulator and tune it from there.

My FMPR is boost referenced only...no vac. Base pressure is 58...at 16psi boost it jumps to 75psi.

i agree, i had good results running my mototrons at 4 bar at 0psi.

on the 96's i run 3 bar at 0psi just to keep an even number.

the more pressure you run the harder it is on your fuel pumps; and the easier it is on your injectors.

pushing the limit you will have to run the fuel pressure either way to favor the weaker of the two.

Dont some injectors have issues when you run too much pressure too ??

Mine isn turbo'd, but I run 1:1 base 50psi on 57lb injectors.

Simply to squeeze a little more from them.

For base pressure you really need to consider how much pressure you will end up seeing with boost, and your pumps ability to work with that pressure.

I found it easier to tune without ussing the vacuum part, just boost so we set it at 60psi or so.Under boost we see 70-80psi.

Weldon. Does a great job controlling two 044 Bosch pumps....flows enough that I get 58psi base running one or both pumps at the same setting. Mototrons continue flowing more fuel upto 6barish.
