Walbro 255 in tank fuel pump...what needs to be modified exactly?

Any pics? I hear is a fuel bucket or something?

Also, how are the Holley in tank pumps?

Please excuse my stupidity :) Thanks!

Do you have a 98 or 99? The 98 is simple it has no fuel "bucket" just a metal arm the pump can be clamped to. The 99up cars requite some mods to the "bucket" to get the 255 to fit and work. The holley pump is a Walbro 255

Thanks Nate. I have a 98...never changed my screen name after I sold the 99. Sounds like an easy installation then. It's something I'm considering doing when I take swap out the exhaust....one of those "while I'm in there" mods.

BTW, do you still sell the GM rockers with the HS brarings pressed in? Can you PM me more info about them if you do?

anyone pics for 98 install?

Use stainless clamps on the '98 install. There is moisture in gas tanks and they will rust if they are not stainless.
