Going with Lonnies double pumper
#21
One other thing my first pump I had in my tank would hold pressure which I believe was because it was new then it slowly deteriorated after I went to the track and let her have it. This new pump I have still holds pressure under normal driving unlike the old one, but like the old one it does not hold pressure under boost, which happened only after I went to the track. At this point I'm stuck trying to decide if this pump just needs a little more juice (hot wire kit) or getting a double pumper.

I would replace the lines and regulator at the same time that is prob. where most of your problem lies. The factory regulator is the week link in the fuel system and then add dual pumps for it to control and forget it. Feed your motor the fuel it needs before you hurt something. Then once you have the fuel you can add boost and make more power

Well guys I know I've been saying I'm going with Lonnie's double pump setup, but I just bought a racetronics hotwire kit as a final ditch effort to save my single 340ss. If this does not work I'll have my BAP and hot wire kit up for sale.. I just got it so install will start tomorrow. I'll let everyone know what happens..
