#30 svo big enough for 422 and 100 shot????
I just got off the phone with mti, the salesman is recommending svo #30 injectors for my mti 422 and tnt 100 wet shot. #30's sound too small to me.
wouldn't #36 svo's be more like it?
wasn't colonel running #36's with his 422? <img border="0" alt="[bang head]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_banghead.gif" />

The decision on which injectors to get will be based solely on ur engine N/A. Your TNT kit is wet. A wet kit has no impact on your injectors. because its after the MAF.
I would go with 36lbs just to keep the duty cycle down.
I have SVO 30s in my stock ci motor... go with 36s at least. Whatever u get provided they arent like 180lb!s <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> u can tune for.

i dont know if they are to be honest. Just make you find out at what PSI they are rated for...
cause a 30lb SVO runs like a 36-38lb inject...because they are rated at 45psi i believe and LS1s run at 58
just help make ur tuners job a little easier initally

Listen to MTI. You will have no problems with the SVO 30# injectors for your application. That rating is at 40 PSI. You will be at 60 PSI. The injector is equivalnet to a 36# injector at 60 PSI. In addition you will have a wet system that will have its' own fuel supply.

My setup is pretty much the same as yours. I can't figure out why MTI likes the 30lb svo's so much. After doing my own research I opted for a set of 36lb svo's. I got a good deal on a new set but if I had your money I'd go with the lucas's. They're all flow matched but I'm not sure what PSI they're rated at.

SVO 30s work great for stroker engines. I had them on my 434ci and never had any fuel issues. Going too big can make your idle quality pretty crappy also, even with tuning.
The three 9-second MTI Corvettes all had SVO 30s and the TNT wet kit.
I'm pretty sure PaiN's 10.1 car and Colonels 9.8 car had them also.

I still disagree with running 30lb svo's on a 422ci motor. True a 30lb svo is rated at 30 at 43psi but in general you don't want to shortchange yourself with injector sizing.
I would run svo 36's to answer your question.
Personally I have done some research into injectors and they tend to be rated like this...
#1 Delphi
#2 Lucas, SVO's
#3 Siemens
Delphi injectors have the best reputation of any injector out there. They tend to have the best quality and tend to be within 1.5% of each other right out of the box.
