Stock Fuel Pump better than Walbro 340 Intank??
Im getting a heads/Cam car and spraying 150 shot on it, Im hearing that the stock fuel pump is better than the walbro <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" /> MANY people have told me who have one already and MTI said just to leave it stock, anyone have any input, should i put it in??

I too would be very interested to see someone back this up...
We've seen LOTS of cars with the stock pump lose pressure at high rpm (especially when also feeding a wet N20 kit or blower/turbo). A simple swap to a Walbro GSS340 and the problem is solved up to about 600hp. A $129 pump is always cheaper than a $5,000 engine...

Well I decided to put the T-Rex Fuel Pump instead, I just didnt want to take any chances...But Im sure this pump works better than the stock one for sure..
Most of the reasons they told me was that it loses pressure, more than the stock <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />

The walbro 340 is designed to run at higher pressures and maintain its output, its used by a lot of FI induction just because of that reason. So unlike the stock pump, it does not drop off as much.
