Default Fuel System Design - Check Valve Question

I'm in the final stages of my fuel system design and have a question. My car will run dual tanks/pumps/regulators that will then connect to each side of the the fuel rail,,, with a crossover pipe on the other end. The plan is to only run one side at a time.

That said,,,, the inline check valve is all that is keeping the fuel out of the system that is not in use and over filling that tank,,so I'm a little concerned.

Will this work,,, is it safe,,, or is there maybe a better way??

Thanks!

You have absolutely no crossover between tanks? Top for filling? I know I just set one of these up for a guy building the same car and we did it quite different. How are you pulling fuel from the tanks to feed the pumps? There is no need for 2 regulators either. Give me a call I can help you set something up much simpler.
