Default Fuel problem

I have a 98 Z28, Well i have a walbro pump intank on it, It has been hard to start lately, Well today I put a fuel pressure gauge on it, I am not to sure on it but when I turn the key on it takes a minute to build pressure, Then when I shut the key off it goes back to zero, If I wait about an 1 hour and try to start it it takes a minute to start but once the gauge hits 58#s it starts right up. What do you guys think my problem is? Thanks for any help Hey also I swapped it out to an ls6 intake, Well my car has been getting about 170miles to a fill up since the intake swap about 2 weeks ago, But on the interstate it gets about 20 with a 3.73 gear, automatic car, Engine is stock all done is true dual exhaust, The ls6 intake and injectors came off a ls1 gto Is the ls1 gtos injectors bigger than the stock 98 camaro injectors?

It should build pressure instantly but drop down over a few minutes... May be weak... Change the filter lately ?

I would pull the pump and make sure your hose is on the pump and sending unit good. Plus it might of sprung a leak in the hose. If all if good there check you FPR. But it should hold pressure for atleast 5 min or so.
