Default help on racetronix install

i am in the middle of my install and was not sent instructions. my question is, my racetronic pump has wires for the sensor but does not have the wires that go to the float, do i just remove the pins from the old clip and put them on the racetronix one?

i searched but didn't find anything.

Thanks
Eric

Yes, you reuse the float wire. The other wires are larger gauge to support more current, but the float wire stays the same. PITA.

no i dont think there's a problem doig that, i think they sell the pump kit without the upgraded wires??

its not hard to change out the wires tho, you just follow the factory wires and zip tie it up to that. probably take you 20ish minutes after you get the car jacked up nice and high.

Please e-mail support@racetronix.com to get a copy of the instructions. This will help you avoid potential installation issues which may lead to failure.

I just received my racetronix kit for my 01 Formula today and it didn't have instructions either. This is the second kit I've purchased, the first was for my 87 GTA. Neither kit came with instructions.

The instructions should be in the box with the fuel pump assembly.
Which vendor did you buy it from?

I purchased directly from racetronix. I sent an email and it was taken care of very quickly. Thanks for the help.
