Default regulator placement

where are you guys mounting your regulators im contemplating in the trunk area as i cant find a clean place for under the hood to mount mine

You need to control fuel pressure at the engine where the fuel is actually used. You only care what the engine fuel pressure is & the pressure drop through the lines will alter that reading if it is in the trunk.

thats why i asked that question i wondered if it would have an effect ok so where to mount under the hood

The front of the pass side rail of you are using aftermarket rails.

Stock rails are a compromise at best. You can mount it remotely on the inner fender also.

i just thought of something isnt the factory fpr in the sending unit in the tank??

and ive got aftermarket rails and im trying to to take it away from the rails for a cleaner look but i also want to put it where i can get to it to adjust even though i do have a frame lift

Factory is in the tank.....

Put it on the engine or at least under the hood & it will look fine.

I put mine right on top of the EVAP line (which is now my return line) with a quick disconnect fitting that screws right into the FPR and snaps onto the stock hard line.

i think im gonna put it under the wiper cowel so i can get to it but its still hidden
