Default Racetronics kit question

I bought the plug n play kit, and i was wondering if there are any special tools needed to put this kit in. The only reason i am asking is cause i am going to a buddies house and we only have so much time. We are doing the trap door method. It looks straight forward i just don't want to have anything rise up while we are installing it tomorrow.

There shouldnt be anything you need to worry about. I did mine by removing the tank with just basic hand tools. Good luck with it.

No special tools required. Since there are two of you and time is an issue, I suggest having one person doing the pump while the other runs the harness.
The biggest problem I had was getting that $%^& ring seated correctly on the tank duing the install of the new pump.

Just search for trap door method and youll turn up a ton of info. Heres a write up I did on dropping the tank. You can prob use the steps about running the wires etc for your method.

The kit should have come with instructions. Did it not?
If not, I would give them a call. I didn't see a link on their web site. You will need it, as some simple mods to your current system will be required, plus it tells you things such as where to place the relay.

The pump should have come with instructions for how to actually hook the pump and relay up. If you need them and cant get a set, just pm me and Ill see if I can find mine to scan for you.

We didn't need any instructions, it was pretty straight forward, install went pretty good, nothing went wrong, so now its time to spray the big shot.
