TR230's and gears??? I have an M6 with 3.73's and it's a complete dog. I already know I should have at least 4.10s, but I think I need even deeper. I know it's not a hell of a difference between the 410's from a 3.73. I am on a 10 bolt and know the breakage poss. and don't mind. It's been dropped at 5500 on slicks with the 3.73s and been great! Her 9" will come. Till then I'm thinkin 4.30s, and yes they do make them for the 10 bolt. I would like to know your recomendations. current mods- lid, LTs, hooker exhaust ypipeand cut-out,ram clutch, (still on factory injectors running at 100% duty cycle), LS6 intake ( factory) it's an 02 model, SFCs, LCAs, p&p 241s, tr230 reverse split, I think that's about it....(scratches his head).... -Your 10 bolt is already a ticking time bomb, adding 4.30 is shortening the fuse. -Why is your car a dog? Im bone stock and my car is no slouch. -3.73s or even stock gears should be plenty for that cam. Its got plenty power down low. -If your looking for performance advice: Id get some heads and swap to a traditional split cam. Then go 4.10s with a 9inch or 12 bolt. -If your looking for rear-end advice: Id save for a 12 bolt or 9 inch with out a doubt, especially since it will see the track. You have a handful of 5.5k launches left at best. Good luck. |
