Question help :: thinking about 4.10 for drag racing

Hello


i have ls1 Automatic Transmission

thinking to change gears to 4.10

ill use the car only for drag racing

hope to know if it will hurt my Automatic Transmission ?

and is there any problem if i use it with stock differential ?

which better 3.42 , 3.73 , 4.10 ?

if your only drag racing with it then go with 4.10's i have 4.56's ..it will not hurt your trans and you can have a shop put them in your 10 bolt...

The higher the ratio should aleviate stresses off of the transmission, but using a stock rear end on a full drag car is racing on barrowed time as they say
