whats this rearend worth?

whats this rearend worth? i have a guy interested in a 8.8 rearend i have, its complete and i think it was stock with 3.73 gears. its gonna include the rear disc brakes also. well he asked me what i want for it and i have no idea what it is worth, he is going to use it for a jeep. so if anyone has a clue let me know. thanks john.

You can get average prices for around your area by checking car-part.com
I've bought a few with drum brakes for $150. Now the junkyard charges $200 for one with drums and $400 for one with disc.
There should be a tag on the cover bolt with the gear ratio.
It will read like 3 73 for 3.73 open.
And 3L73 for 3.73 limited slip.
And if theres no tag, and you don't feel like taking the cover off you can actually take the fill plug out and read the stamping off the ring gear through it.
And a good selling point, if the jeep guy doesn't know already, it has the same lug pattern as a jeep.
