did you notice a different when going to a aluminum d/s?

Default did you notice a different when going to a aluminum d/s?

I got one from a wrecked z 1le for like 150 bucks, Is there a difference in driveablity in terms of how fast the car revs of course it takes alot less energy to spin a aluminum d/s.

I really didn't notice anything with my swap. Hold on to your stock one because the aluminums are known to break.

i noticed mine being more smooth on the highway. thats about it. no annoying vibration above 80mph

Stock aluminum DS's hold up very well. Typically, the POS 10 bolt will go before the DS will. I've replaced the stock steel DS in my 2 of my 3rd gens with 4th gen aluminum DS's. A lot less vibration - didn't feel any SOTP difference, but every little bit helps
