Default Gasket oem or other?

Is there anything special about the oem gasket (rear dif) is it like the A4 pan gasket where some are rubber and some the leaky cork type?

Is OEM best or will any parts store over the counter do?
Thanks.

Usually a good RTV sealer or The Right Stuff.
I've never had one leak and never used a gasket.
Just need to be sure the oil is done dripping out on the bottom and the surfaces are prepped and degreased.

The OE gasket is likea cork/paper gasket. I would either get a gasket from any parts store or RTV it
