Default I think my differential is bad...

I have a 2000 ws6 and was out the other day and went to do a burnout but only one tire spun... now I dont know if it matters but the tire(passenger side) that spun was pretty well worn down more than the other side. A little help because im not up on my rearend knowledge.

same thing happened to my z28 when my 10 bolt was going.my magnet on the diff. cover looked like a clump of neverseize from all the shavings
