Default So my bearings are going bad, need help

Got a few questions:
Bearings are going bad so I have to get them replaced anyway, should I get new Gears?

If so what gears should I get(car in sig)?

What kinda mileage should I lose if I get better gears?

And anyone know a site I can visit to get all the parts that need to be replaced plus gears?

Definately get some 3.73s. They will really make that thing scream. I would expect maybe ~1 mpg loss tops, but that could also depend on if you got 2.73s ore 3.23s factory. The losses will be alot higher if you have the highway cruiser gears.

Kind of vague on everything.
Do you want better gears, or do you think you need them because of the bad bearings?

You know doing them yourself is going to be difficult and the failure rate is high. But then again you said nothing of who is doing the work.

Mileage varies depending on before and after.

Gear ratio depends on the use of the car. Can't suggest anything not knowing.

If the differential is old and your gear swap requires a different series, you might as well add $500-$600 to the work.

If the bearings are bad, most likely the axles are pitted, thats $250-$300 for a good set, or $180 for a gramma and grampa set.

Specifics are always good to have listed.

Just looked and my car has 3.23 gears so I'm gona make the move to get 3.73's.
And I'm having a local guy who does his own cars and many other people including working on my dads 9 second car so hes good.
I'm looking to getting a install kit, ring and pinion, bearing kit, and gears all from Jegs, gave me a damn good price.

And I use the car mostly for a daily but I'm trying to get it to be a street beast. I should break the 12's now

I ran 12.6 with a lid, full exhaust and 3.23's.
