Default Rear end swap write up????

Is there any good rear end swap write up's out there? I have a new Ford 8.8 rear end coming in a week or so. The builder says it's complete bolt in just like 12bolt would be but I'd like to get a little familar with the whole process before I try and tackle it myself.

Thanks
Joe

GMHIGHTECH PERFORMANCE had a Strange 12bolt install recently in one of the issues. Check out their website.

ShadowZ28, I just installed one of Craig's rears in my car. Shoot me an email when you're about to install it. I have a couple of small pointers for you.

Its pretty straight forward - just jack the car up, support the rear with a jack, and the car with jack stands. Disconect everything from the rear (LCAs, shocks, PHR, brakes, etc., etc.). Drop rear down, pull out from under car, install new one in reverse order. Thats about it.

You will need to salvage the caliper mounting plates from your old axle to put on the new one, or buy a new set.

This is for a Strange 12-bolt but I would think that it would basically be the same.
