how much power do you typically lose with a 9"?

I would give up a few percent anyday. Knowing your rear isnt going to explode on you is always nice. some cars loose 15 hp some less. But if your going from a 3.42 to a 4.10 you will never know. The car will feel faster with the gears anyways.

It felt like mine got faster.....lol, I went from a 10 bolt 3.73 gear to a 4.11 MWC 9" and I'm running 28" tall tires which put me more at a 3.90 gearing., she definitly goes faster at the track.
