Question Oil up under rearend

I was wondering if it is bad to have some type of grime (feels like dirty oil) under my rear end. It looks like it is bleeding onto the metal around the differential, but not on the floor. just looks like it is slung all over the place. and its been like that for a while but I keep checking my garage and none is on the floor. could I have a differental leak somewhere. Maybe a gasket.

any help would be appreciated
Mike

It's very normal. Almost all of them will do this. Just keep it clean, if you like a clean undercarriage. I do. As long as it's not a leak, where you'd see fluid on the pavement, you have nothing to worry about.
