Where is your Moser 9" magnet ?

Where is your Moser 9" magnet ? I just got a used moser 9" housing The magnet was in the axle tube when it arrived. I know it a stupid question but where does it go? On the back welded on cover or in the bottom of the housing near the drain plug? I just dont want it to come loose and end up where it shouldnt be.
