87 9bolt in a 98 z28
question for you guys, i pretty much fucked up my 10bolt last night, lots of clunking and all of the sudden i went from lsd to posi haha. so something isnt right with my 10bolt. anyways, got a 9bolt for a 87 irocz its the australian rear end with disc and everything
measured at 60inch and the 10bolt is 62inch
wondering if there is any modifying i need to do to make it bolt up, or should i just take off the neccessary parts and hope for the best. If there is a thread similar up, please redirect me i didnt find one.

So i got her all bolted up, panhard was keeping the torque arm from mounting fully, but we jammed the bolts up and got it right. Everything bolts up right, still have to bleed and assemble the brakes properly. Clearance issues with my 315 zr1 wheels. So, im gonna look into some arh wheel studs about 3 1/2 inch. and a 1inch wheel spacer and see if that helps me. I may have to drill into the back of the rims to get the longer lug nuts to fit. But im going on a 5day trip to denver, ill post pictures when i get home and get the project done.
Sorry i didnt take any during the installation, i didnt quite think i could get it to fit.
btw i started working(by myself with occasional help from friends[like once or twice] around 12 and didnt finish until 8pm[still not done])

I've got two spacers that you need (made just for the swap). I paid 150 for pair... I'd take 125 shipped... They are perfect (only used them about a year)
