Default How to tell if the pcm has been recalibrated for the 373 gears?

I bought an 00 SS with 373 gears and 6 speed with the stock 10 spokes. How can I tell if the previous owner had the pcm recalibrated for them. He said he had a hypertech power programmer on it but id like to be sure. What rpms should I be turning and speed showing in 5th at 70? Thanks guys.

Mine is an A4 so not sure about RPMs at certain speeds, but one easy way would be to borrow somebody's GPS Nav system and double check the speed. Thats what I did on mine anyway after my gear swap, and the speedo was spot on with what the GPS said my speed was.

have someone drive next to you at 55 or 65 and see if you match, if so, you're good. . . .

3.7 gear in 5th @ 2400 = 67 MPH

5th= 0.74 ratio

Tire Size of: 275*40*R17"
