Problem with 273 ro 373 thick gear install. Ok, I am having problems with swapping from 273's to a thick gear 373's for my 2 series carrier.(Motive Gear) My carrier is locked up. I moved shims out from the ring side. Still won't move.I am to the point where it doesn't have any shims on that side. The whole thing is locked up. I have decided that it has to be the pinion depth. Does anyone know what would be good to start out with on pinion depth. I have the stock shim in the pinion. I think I have to move the pinion. Anyone know which way and how much? Or am I completly on the wrong track. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.
