Default Need some help with a Zexel Torsen

I recently sold a stock pullout Torsen lsd. The buyer is now complaining that it didn't come with a pinion block/plate and bolt. I have been informed that his stock one will fit, because all posi or non posi units from 93-02 have the same one. This is what he says:
the zexel posi has a rectangle block where as open diffs and aurburns have the round shaft...it simply will not fit

What is the deal here? Will his stock open carrier one work with the Torsen? Can he not just get one from a junk yard if it will not? Please answer quick as he wants some answers. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the help, but I already knew that and it had nothing to do with my question. Do you know about the pinion plates?

That's not correct that only 2001 and 2002's came with Torsen.

My 2000SS has a torsen and I believe that all 4th gens from 99 up got Torsens rather than Auburns

The plate from a standard diff is very different a torsen. The torsen is a paddle almost abt 1 in wide and 3 long with a hole on the bottom. The standard is a large wrist pin about 3 in long. Btw Zexels came standard 99-02
