advice me on gear ratio ! It’s a ’97 LT1 with A4, ive got 28” tall tires at the back (325s), 3500 stall, and my cam only engine(gm847) with ported heads and supporting bolt-ons puts down about 350hp as estimated, my shift point is set at 6500RPM. I’ll only be driving the car in the weekends but im more concerned bout getting the best ET with my setup…
BTW my axle is stock. Should I go 4.10 ??? im new to this,,never swapped gears before so I don’t know how a 4.10 or 3.73 would feel on a 28” tires on the street or in the track

I'd say 4.10 to 4.30. We're using 4.30 gears in my brother's '95 Formula which is shown here. http://www.exoticperformanceplus.com...tCar.php?car=7 Bob
wow,,,nice car
,,but urs is more of a drag car,,so i guess for a street strip car i should go lower than 4.30
