Hmmm. 3/4" really isn't that bad. Anyone know the measurements for sure?

Initially I had my vent as shown here, but I moved it to the driver's side - same location on the top of the axle tube.

If you haven't bought wheels yet take advantage of a narrowed rear. Or have the fabricator pick it up on his dime.

Did you ship it to texas? Geez, between that and the fabricator's time, how much is this going to cost you? A S60 is like $2.5k I think from Carl. I don't think I would do an 8.8 if I couldn't do it myself.

2.5K is a lot of money for almost anyone who is looking to use a 8.8

Agreed which is why I'm building an 8.8. But if you sink roughly ~$2k into an 8.8 you might as well forget it and go with the S60.

Not to go to far off topic here but I have a 4th gen f body. Locally, I have found a 8.8 out of a Mustang stock length. Already has a spool and 33 spine Moser axles,1350 yoke, aluminum cover girdle, c- clip eliminators dual caliper disc brakes. Wanting to stay stock style suspension and knowing I will have to buy wheels with the proper offset and ford bolt pattern, how difficult to do and what work would be involved to get it set up? I know the torque arm mount will be difficult.

Love the swap man, just got all the brackets welded to my 8.8. What was necessary to make the 4th gen lines connect to the mustang brakes?
