Weight difference between a tru-trac and a spool
Does anyone know the weight difference between a tru-trac and a spool. I bought a 12 bolt from Strange and I am pretty sure it has a tru-trac in it. Is that standard in those rear ends. I am going to change the gears and I want to drop some weight too. I put a tru trac in my 07 silverado and remember it being heavy but I didnt weigh it.

Moser aluminum spool and carrier bearings= 6.56
Total savings going to spool= -18.44
