are the summit brand gears worth buying or will i be just throwing money away some people have said they will be fine others have said they are to hard and not worth buying fixing to order gears in next few days just wanting some final thoughts.

most of what Summit sells as their brand is name brand manufacture's stuff with the summit name. Easy way to see who makes them is if you call and ask.

i just installed a set of there's in my junk 10 bolt. I have about 500 miles on them and they seem fine. Alittle whine sometimes but that's usually expected. worth the money yes.

Very true on Summit, I usually trust what they sell and not having to worry about problems with their parts with the Summit name on them.
