Strange S 60l; 40 spline axles... Strange S 60... 40 spline gun-barrel axles, 5/8th studs... 96 Z...
Stock rotors wouldn't fit over pilot... had them machined to two thousandths over the hub pilot... and I augered out the lug holes to fit the 3/4 shoulder on the 5/8 studs... nasty vibration at around 55-60 mph... anyone had any luck trying to bolt up stock calipers to this axle?
Crushed... NEED HELP!
Also, the manufacturer claims that the 513 gears in this system, which I bought from a private party; but which was new and never installed... are probably 'race gears' made of a softer metal, which they say will burn up in a couple of hundred miles... anyone familiar with that?

I dont have an answer for you but i also have a question about aftermarket alloy axles, why are the hub pilots so short? once i put a rotor on, the wheel cant engage the pilot surface because its too short? i tried asking moser and got hung up on!
