need help replacing pinion bearings rear end was noisy on my 98 SS. the rear end is stock (M6). I pulled the pinion nut, yoke, seal, and outer pinion bearing. The bearing is chewed up in a few spots and so is the race. How much further do I have to go into it to check/replace stuff? Do I have to pull the rear end apart to change the outer race?
