I have a Cam only A4 Camaro SS with stock 3.23's and a Yank 3600 stall,
should I move move up to 3.73's? or stay with stock gears?

Note: I have Motive 3.73's sitting in my Garage, just dont know if i should even bother having them installed.

I would put the 3.73s in...when I went from 2.73s to 3.73s I picked up .9 in the 1/4..with no cam.

I would put the 373 in since you have a cam and a converter

I went from 2.73's to 3.42's cause I'm a big ***** and was scared of the 3.73's, but I wish I would have went with the 3.73's.


So my vote is 3.73's.

Stick with the 3.23's. 3.73's will make the car feel faster but it won't show at the track. Change gears if you pop the rear or go to a 12 bolt or 9 inch.

im gonna agree with hugger, go with 373, but have a professional install them. i tried to save a few bucks by gettin a friends to do it, and 4 months later here i am with my Z back on jacks, driving my nissan 240, and not looking like a total badass

Defintely go with the 373. IMO its the best gear period for an A4 car.

Definetly install them. It will make the stall feel a little tighter as well as compliment your cam.
