Help identifying witch gear this is? i bought my trans am and the person changed out the diff gearing and i dont know what it is to match with my speedometer i took out the diff cover today and counted the teeth in the gears it has 41 of them anyone know what the ratio is? and what kind they are?

A pic might help to identify the brand. As for the ratio turn the drive shaft and count how many turns it takes for the ring gear to make 1 revolution.
3 1/2 - 3.42
3 3/4 - 3.73
4 - 4.10
3 1/2 - 3.42

Did you count the teeth on the pinion gear:
For the stock 10 bolt here are the gear tooth counts:
ring pinion ratio
41...12.....3.42
41...11.....3.73
41...10.....4.10
