IF it has the optional V6 performance package,it would have the 'torsen' carrier of the V8s'.
A torsen, when spinning one wheel by hand, will act like an open,non-posi,differential.
A G80 code next to your GU5 code(which you already stated you have) indicates positraction.

What he said^ if theres no g80 code and the wheels spin opposite you dont have posi. With that said if you really want 4.10s you may as well throw the 10 bolt away now it wont last very long with the gers especially if you beat on it because the teeth on 4.10 gears are much smaller. Your best bet is to either live with the 3.23's which would be a higher gear than a stock m6 camaro so I wouldnt reccomend it.Either find one out of a wrecked 6spd fbody any year will work just make sure to swap the brakes if its an lt1 car. Or buy a torsen or auburn posi unit and put your choice of gears on it.

If your goal is 500 rwhp, I would not waste my time on the 10 bolt.

mini spool^^,what i have on my daily driver truck 10 bolt, locks both wheels all the time... axle shafts slide into it and your locked up, full spool is better but this can be installed in 20 mins in a driveway, same with "lunchbox lockers" -but i hate those...
