Default Installing Rear End Bearing Races

Hello all,

I am currently doing a project on the 99 TA. I am replacing the bearing races in the rear end. When I was about to install the inner bearing race, I did not have the size on the installer kit I bought. What size do I need to buy for this? I am not sure if it comes in a kit or if I can buy by itself. I have not been successful in trying to find out. Bearing race part # is M86610. I appreciate it!

Do you know what the size is for the plate on the bearing race installer kit?

When you say INNER race, are you referring to the pinion bearing?
All you need is the basic race and seal installer kit available at any parts house or harbor freight.
Only other races are the side bearings and they just sit on the bearings and fit in with the rest of stack.

Just as a tip put the race in the freezer for a couple hours before you go to install them into the rear. They go in much smoother
