Default 3 channel convert to 4 channel?

All-

I'm underway on a build, and am possibly buying a pretty nice Moser 12 bolt. However, it is a 3 channel. My 97 Z28 is a 4 channel (ABS and TCS).
My question is this: Can the 3 channel Moser be converted to a 4 channel? What parts do I need?
I called Moser and spoke to someone in tech support, I was told that the sensor for the 3 channel in the top of the housing needs to be removed, and I'd need the reluctor rings for the outsides of the axles, along with a set of LT1 backing plates w/sensors. Is this all I need to do?

You can send it in to them and they will do it for around $300 bucks. A lot easier then trying to mess with it yourself.

That's not exactly part of my plan. As long as the procedure is correct for what I've listed above, I have no problem doing it myself.

Did you ever get this worked out? What did you do with the 12 bolt 3 channel ABS parts? I'm about to start building one and would like to keep my 3 channel ABS working. I just started a thread asking about it too. Thanks, Jason

Yes. All you need to do is use axles with the machined step that accepts the axle reluctor rings.

You can buy new reluctor rings from Rock Auto for around $6 each.

I ended up sending the axles in to Moser for machining and reluctor ring install. At that point, I just needed a set of 4 channel backing plates.
Talk about reviving an old thread!
