Default 4.30s too much gear for my setup?

I have a N/A heads and cam LT1 thats around 380HP/Tq. I'm looking to put a 125 shot on the car once I do a rear end and suspension.

I have a chance to get a 9" 3rd member with 4.30 gears for a good price. Would this be way too much gear for my car?

I have the rev limited set at 6500 RPM and dont want to spin it any higher than that. I also would like to avoid the body modifications needed to run 28" tires.

So with a 26" tire I would max out in 4th at 117 mph, and with a 27" tire I would max out at 121mph.

So at my power levels am I going to be needing to shift into 5th in the quarter or would I be ok? And is it okay to shift into 5th in the quarter? I know it would hurt your time, but can the tranny handle it ok?

Well with 4.11s and a 27 inch tire I would still be maxing out at 127mph...what gear would you recommend?

What kind of trap speed could I expect on the 125 shot?

Why not a step down and do 4.10's?

I dunno what your weight is, but you'll probably trap about 125mph

Its a full weight car with a tubular front end. Realistically the n2o may be quite a ways out, so it will probably be awhile before I am trapping that high.
