Default What years 8.8 for my car

just broke the stock rear in my 2000 ta. I am going to do the 8.8 with my stock axle tubes adapted to the 8.8 axle tubes. What years of the 8.8 am i looking for? Thanks in advance. Btw, 3 passes at the dragstrip is all i got but i'm the 2nd owner.

If your going to be putting the 10 bolt tubes on the 8.8 center then i dont think it matters for the housing. the internals are different tho. im buying everything new so i didnt care what it was out of or what year it was.

You should go with an 8.8 rear out of the fox body mustangs and explorers. Just change all of the internals and go from there.
