what is it with the 3.23s' that is 'killing' you?
3500 stall should get you up in the powerband quickly. 3.73s or 4.10s will improve your acceleration and decrease your traction. If it's not a DD,the 4.10s' will make 1st & 2nd wicked, providing the tires will bite, and as stated by a previous poster, going a larger dia. tire will change your 'effective' 'felt' ratio.
I went from 3.23s' to 4.56s' 3 yrs. ago and never looked back. Even took 3 trips to Florida from Cleveland,Ohio with the 4.56s'.

I went through this decision a few weeks back. I split the difference and went with 3.90s. However, I have a 27" tall tire. For the record, I only plan to have a trap speed of 110 to 112. I used the drag race calculator to make my decision:

I have 4.10 with 4000 stall H/C. I dont daily drive it but could minus the winter.
Around town it is fun as hell maybe a 4.30 when i do my rear end upgrade. If i had to drive on the highway or interstate at 65-75 mph for more than an hour to get to a track it would be okay but that part is up to you. Some can tolerate it some cant. I have read most going with 3.73 and saying you wont be happy with 4.10, After my install from a manual i dont think the 4.10's are that bad based on my intentions with it, so it comes down to what do you want?
